    Welcome to DeVoe’s Rainbow Orchards! We are a century old 100 acre family farm located in Southern Saratoga County, which is in upstate New York at the foothills of the great Adirondack Mountain region. Merritt DeVoe along with his wife Margaret started building this farm right after his return from service during World War I. Groomed in the family farm since his birth his son Lawrence and his wife Ava eventually took over the business in 1965. Their children all helped in the family business throughout the years but four of them (Lynn, Craig, Joy and Alan) have stayed on and continue to work the farm today. Our main product is our 40 acres of beautiful apple trees where we harvest an average 15,000 bushels each year. We also grow corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, winter squash, peppers and pumpkins. Our country store is OPEN YEAR ROUND where you can visit our bakery, browse a wonderful selection of local products as well as our own produce and gather great gift ideas like custom designed fruit and gift baskets. From April until October each year you can also spend some time in our ice cream shop Rainbow Delights. They offer great old fashioned favorites like sausage or steak sandwiches, salt potatoes and meatball subs. But they also offer terrific everyday food like hot dogs, hamburgers, fries and onion rings. Then you can top off your visit with a premium soft ice cream treat like a cone, malt or sundae. We take pride in our family and by family I mean our customers. We have had the pleasure of knowing and serving some of our customers through multiple generations.
